Jonathan Wald

Jonathan Wald is the Senior Vice President of CNBC, responsible for all business news programming. Wald is a former executive producer of Today and NBC Nightly News With Tom Brokaw. A three-time Emmy award winner and recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award for "Best Newscast", he has worked in television news for over two decades. He began as a desk assistant at NBC News in 1983 while a student at Columbia, then moved to WBZ-TV (Boston) where he produced every major broadcast including the 11 O'Clock News. He returned to New York as a field producer for NBC News in 1993. Wald received a B.A. from Columbia University.
